We are looking for an engaged and passionate Special Teacher / Special Educator who wants to be part of our exciting journey at Brandberg School.
As a special teacher / special educator, you will work to create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment for our students with special needs. You will have the opportunity to:
- Develop individual adaptations and strategies to support each student's learning.
- Work closely with colleagues and specialists to create a holistic view of the student's development.
- Contribute to pedagogical development by implementing evidence-based methods.
- Engage in collaboration with parents and guardians to create a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities
As a Special Teacher / Special Educator, you will play a central role in supporting and developing students with special needs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing individual educational plans to meet each student's unique needs.
- Collaborating with teachers and school staff to create an inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive and learn.
- Guiding and supporting teachers.
- Offering support and advice to both students and their families to ensure a holistic view of education.
- Conducting assessments of students' knowledge and needs and following up on their development.
- Participating in strategic development efforts to improve the school's pedagogical methods and inclusive working practices.
- Promoting cultural awareness and diversity in the classroom, as well as creating a safe and positive atmosphere for all students.
- Documenting in accordance with procedures.
